What kind of work does PROMIQ take on?
Four things, mostly: websites and online stores, the design work behind them, AI and business automation, and custom software such as dashboards, portals and internal tools. The common thread is that we design and engineer it ourselves rather than assembling it from templates.
Do you only work with businesses in Suriname?
Suriname is our home market and most of our clients are here, from Paramaribo start-ups to established companies. The work itself travels fine, so we also take on projects from outside the country when there is a good fit.
What does a project cost?
It depends on scope, and we quote a fixed price against a clearly defined one rather than an hourly guess. A compact business website, an online store and a custom internal system sit at very different levels — the first conversation is where we work out which bracket you are actually in.
How long does a project take?
A focused website is usually weeks rather than months. Automation projects start with one workflow, so the first one is live quickly. Custom software is delivered in working stages, which means you are using something real long before the whole thing is finished.
Can I update the site myself afterwards?
Yes. Sites can be delivered with an admin panel for changing text, images and projects without touching code, and we walk you through it at handover. Where you would rather not deal with it at all, ongoing maintenance covers the changes for you.
Do you work with businesses that already have a website?
Often. Sometimes the existing site needs a redesign, sometimes it needs maintenance and a speed pass, and sometimes the honest answer is that rebuilding costs less than continuing to patch it. We look at what you have and tell you which of the three you are facing.
What happens after the project is finished?
You own the result — the code, the data and the accounts it runs on. From there you can take it in-house, hand it to another developer, or keep us on for maintenance and changes. Nothing is locked to us by design.
